John Mann has welcomed Notts Police action to impose a dispersal zone to cover the whole of Harworth. This came into force on Friday 14th March and police have already reported that it has
caused a significant impact on anti-social behaviour problems in the area.
John Mann commented “I urged the chief constable in January that Harworth should be given additional priority by the police following complaints to me from residents. Its not right that
people feel threatened, intimidated and see property damaged by an unruly minority. I welcome all initiatives that can tackle these problems and dispersal orders are a tool in a whole armoury
of measures that the police and the local council can use. I will continue to monitor the situation in Harworth”
