The 24^th of October is the anniversary of the day the United Nations treaty came into force in 1945.  It celebrated around the world and here in Lewisham too. This year local MPs Bridget Prentice and Joan Ruddock joined me along with members of the Lewisham United Nations Association to raise the UN Flag outside the Town Hall.
