Summer's nearly over and for those of you who keep fit by swimming there is some very good news.  The new, second pool at Deptford Wavelengths is now open.  The whole centre has been given a spruce up and is looking very good.  When this pool was built back in the 1980s leisure pools were all the rage with wave machines and the like.  What quickly became clear was that lots of us just want to swim up and down!  A couple of years ago we reviewed the swimming provison in the borough and I decided that we should add a brand new new 25m pool.  I couldn't resist joining some of the first swimmers to try it out and it is great - give it a try.
