Tories plan to cut affordable housing on White City

On Tuesday of this week, I was able to speak in a special debate on London Housing (which is available to read here) and put across the terrible conditions suffered by many of my constituents on the White City estate.

Later that evening, I spoke at the AGM of the White City Residents’ Association – highlighting the staggering attempts of the local Tory council to undermine housing opportunity for local residents, including the gutting of affordable homes from the White City Health Centre development plans and new plans for a wholesale “redevelopment” of the estate.
