Councillors visit some of Governments £40 million investment in city homes

Matson Councillors viewing improvements in The LampreysLabour Councillors, Jan Lugg and Kate Haigh, have visited homes in The Lampreys which are being improved as part of Gloucester City Homes Decent Homes strategy.

Jan stated that she was pleased to see the work that had been done using money from the Labour Government. Kate said "People have told us how pleased they are with the work and also with the contractors who are polite and helpful." The programmme of work continues allowing all tenants to have to improvements they need to bring their homes up to standard.

The Labour Government has given Gloucester City Homes £40 million pounds to spent on bringing homes up to standard all over Gloucester.
