Bev Hughes MP welcomed to Bury

ADAB group meet Bev Hughes MP

Minister for Children and Young People, Bev Hughes, was welcomed to Bury by David Chaytor to help host an event recognising women's contribution to the Asian community in Bury.

The Asian Development Association of Bury (ADAB) was proud to host the event at Bury Met.  Bev Hughes addressed the audience and helped give out the awards.

David Chaytor said:

"It was nice to welcome Bev back to Bury.  I know that through her ministerial role she does a great deal for families and young people in particular.

"ADAB is a crucial resource for the Asian community in Bury and the fact that they have made such a special effort to recognise the role women play in the community means a lot."
