Campaign against Barnet Council

Brent Cross Cricklewood Planning Application No. C/17559/08

The Brent Cross Cricklewood planning application that has been submitted to Barnet  Council, part of which is locally referred to as 'the dump' has caused much concern to local residents.

Dawn Butler MP has made a comprehensive detailed submission to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government against the proposal.

The document also includes the concerns and documentation from local groups and organisations including Brent Friend’s of the Earth, Brent Cyclists Group, the Campaign for Better Transport and local business in the area.

There will be an extra 29,000 cars and an increase in refuse lorries.  The Lib Dems who run Brent Council will actually use the waste facility and will use similar technology for Brent’s rubbish despite publicly pretending to oppose it.

Promoted by Ray Collins, General Secretary, the Labour Party, on behalf of the Labour Party, both at 39 Victoria Street, London, SW1H 0HA.
