Dawn Butler MP joined Brent residents in the sunshine at Wembley Football Club to showcase the progress of ABC coaching and to present trophies to their football teams. ABC coaching run weekly training sessions at Capital City Academy for young people of all ages. It was set up to provide a safe place in which young people can channel their energy positively.

Dawn Butler MP said:

“ABC have made fantastic progress since I last saw them in November, it is particularly impressive that after a lot of hard work and effort, ABC Coaching have finally been awarded its FA Charter Standard status. Young people in Brent are so talented; ABC coaching provides a perfect opportunity to cultivate this talent.

I was particularly impressed with the over 10s football team, who won 17 out of their 18 games this season! They should be celebrated by all of Brent.”
