Brent is a London borough in North-West London, divided into three constituencies- Brent South, Brent North and Brent East. At the next general election, the majority of Brent will be divided into two constituencies - Brent Central and Brent North. The remaining areas will go to Hampstead and Kilburn. Brent South is the most diverse constituency in the whole of the United Kingdom, which is reflected in a vibrant culture and a community in which many different languages and religions co-exist within an atmosphere of mutual respect.
The north-west London seat, is situated on either side of the North Circular Road around Harlesden and Wembley.
Brent South is home to the infamous Wembley stadium and Neasden Temple as well as being the most diverse constituency in the UK, with 65% of the population from a non-white ethnic origin, it also houses more churches than any other constituency!
Brent South is home to the largest concentration of Jamaicans and has a very high concentration of Irish, Hindus and Muslims, no wonder it has earned the title of the city’s melting pot and diversity hub.
Brent South also has a total of 21.7 % of young people and 12.9 % of pensioners.
Brent has a Youth Parliament and access to the Youth Capital and Youth Opportunities Fund.
