Mark Todd

I became Member of Parliament for South Derbyshire on May 1, 1997 and stood down when Parliament was dissolved on April 12, 2010. In that time I was contacted by more than 15,000 households (around one in four of those in the area). This website provides information on my work, both in and on behalf of the constituency.

Mark's reponse to EMA plansRESPONSE TO EMA NOISE PLANS - OCTOBER 2009

Mark has criticised East Midland Airport's latest plans to reduce noise from planes.

EMA has produced draft proposals in response to a European Union Directive requiring all airports, major roads, railways and urban areas with more than 250,000 residents to produce action plans outlining how they will combat excessive noise.

But Mark says that EMA's response is "poor" and merely confirms the airport's "Master Plan" published three years ago.
