I have been Member of Parliament for South Derbyshire since the General Election of May 1, 1997. In that time I have been contacted by more than 15,000 households (around one in four of those in the area) On many occasions my assistance has resulted in progress and I am always glad to hear constituents' views on the issues of the day.
