In the interest of openness and accountability, I now plan to publish my expense and allowance claims online each month for all of my office costs.

I do not claim for the Personal Additional Accommodation Expenditure (PAAE) allowance (budget maximum, £24,222) as I commute from my family home in Hove to Westminster when the House of Commons is sitting.

I have not made a claim on my second home allowance since 2006.

As soon as my family was comfortably settled, I continued to commute daily to Westminster and stopped claiming any Additional Costs Allowance. I have not done so since.
