The London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games are a fantastic opportunity for British business. There will be tens of thousands of contracts worth over £6bn in th4e next five years available to companies, small and large, throughout the UK.  

The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Ltd. (LOCOG) launched the London 2012 Business Network in Manchester. The Business Network is made up of 3 components: 

• CompeteFor: a new online business portal that will match buyers with suppliers. Contracts will be registered on the network where companies can register their interest in supplying to London 2012 and matches can then be made.

• Events: a national programme of business events around the UK
