Anne Sponsors Signing Event for Deal Worth More than £200 Million

Anne Snelgrove MP helped arrange an event with the New Swindon Company at the House of Commons which she hopes will raise Swindon’s profile as a great place to live, work and play. The regeneration of Swindon town centre took a step forward with the signing of a development agreement which will bring more than £200 million pounds of private and public sector investment into the town centre, and deliver one of the largest regeneration projects in the South West.

Modus Properites has committed to deliver Regent Place, a £215 million scheme, comprising 32,500 sq m of high quality retail residential, leisure and car park spaces.

Anne said: “Swindon is bucking the economic trend and is set to do so in future.”
